In
a on going effort to become a leading resource for
RC racers and RC enthusiasts I encourage your comments
and suggestions. My goal is to promote RC racing
among fellow racers, expert to novice, through the
sharing of knowledge and experience. I personally
have been racing since March of 2001. I was fortunate
enough to start my race craze at an awesome track
in Southern California called SoCal R/C Raceway.
I am one of the few girls in RC racing, I raised
a lot of eyebrows at SoCal R/C Raceway as I worked
my way up from novice, to intermediate and to a
full fledged sportsman driver. The guys at SoCal
R/C Raceway are some of the nicest and most
competitive drivers in the USA. SoCal is also the
home track to may team drivers such as Brian Kinwald,
Billy Easton, Ryan Cavalieri, Andrew Swanson, and
Josh Numan. They too are as equally nice and helpful
as the rest of the guys in the pits. So if you are
in the Huntington Beach area, checkout this awesome
track. I am in the March 2002 issue of Radio
Control Car Action in the picture of the group
from the Pro-Line Endless Summer Classic from September
2001. I was published for answering a question in
the ask the professor section on page 126, in the
April 2002 issue of Xtreme
RC Car. I have also got to make my impact on
a well known R/C company called Pro-Match
Racing. I had the honor of designing there new
battery labels that replaced their purple ones late
2002, re-designing the Pro-Match Racing site it
was unveiled mid April of 2003, and designing their
new battery boxes in September 2003. I was also
the A-main - 1st place expert stock driver, and
A-main - 3rd place spec modified driver, in the
Pro-Match Racing Summer points series 2002. In January
of 2004 I was fortunate enough to be hired on to
the staff of Hobby
Products International also known as HPI.
In 2004 and 2005 I was also a part of the Ultimate Hobbies
Racing Team at the Monster Jam Monster Truck Series.
In the September 04 issue of RC Car Action Magazine
this website, RC Racing USA was featured in the
site seeing section on Page 143. I have made my
way into the R/C community, within a relatively
short period of time. Here at RC Racing USA I am
striving to maintain a R/C resource site with a
positive image in a non-offensive environment. I
believe that promoting our hobby in such a way will
ensure its survival for many years to come. If you
feel that you have information that would be useful
to other racers please e-mail the RC Racing USA
Staff through one of the links below.
Happy
Driving,
Heather
